All over South Seattle, neighborhoods are building beautiful, hard-working rain gardens to deal with the primary threat to our beloved Puget Sound: polluted runoff. It’s a compelling story of small-scale solutions in action!
Next Saturday 9/21, from 3-5pm, join us for a multi-cultural, bi-lingual tour of some of South Seattle’s most beautiful gardens, and for information on how these installations keep Puget Sound clean while brightening up neighborhoods. Meet neighbors, community leaders and rain garden designers at this celebration of all that’s green and growing in South Seattle. We’ll gather at the South Park Community Center: 8201 10th Avenue South, Seattle 98108.
